Out of Thin Air

Canes and Staffs serve multiple functions; supporting weight to relieve stress on muscles and joints, steady balance or make it easier to snare an object just out of a normal reach.   Various wood species are used to create each cane and staff.   Different grips and handles are carved or cast and some staffs with wrist straps.

No canes or staffs are alike.  They come in different lengths that can be shortened for a more comfortable fit.  Most utilize the original shape grown in the woodland from where they came.   Each piece has several coats of a durable finish and several stained prior to completion.
