Driftwood offers some very interesting knots, twists and turns that when incorporated into a carving, can turn a weathered piece of wood into a very interesting result.  The subjects of J.J.'s creations vary from realistic to quite unusual, “what is it” type pieces.  Are they human, plant, animal?  As he begins to carve the original concept may change as the chips begin to fly.
